Badi Muhsin: Veteran KBC Anchor is Dead

Renowned KBC journalist Badi Muhsin is dead.

The Swahili news anchor breathed his last on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Muhsin who is well known for his Swahili prowess died aged 67. He is well known for the show dubbed Dira Ya Dunia on KBC.

According to sources,  Muhsin passed on in Mombasa. The veteran anchor had his lunch and complained he was not feeling well.

His remains were due to be transported to Nairobi overnight for a burial at Kariokor in Nairobi on Saturday.

His mastery of the Swahili language earned him thousands of fans both locally and globally.

Until his death, Muhsin was one of Kenya’s longest serving Kiswahili news anchors, having worked for over 30 years and he had recently been recalled from retirement by KBC to co-host another show.

Muhsin is survived by a wife and two children
