There was drama at Miana estate in the outskirt of Nyahururu towns as Laikipia Women Rep” Catherine Waruguru and Nominated MCA Irene Wachuka spat at each other in front of Agriculture cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri.
The duo, who were main rivals during to the 2017 General Elections have been throwing tantrums against each other in public forums over an alleged supremacy battle.
On Saturday evening, a meeting that had been called by the CS turned to be a stage of drama as the duo threw words and venoms leaving members of the public in a state of awe as they cheered their sides.
Drama started when the Women Representative arrived at the meeting as other leaders were giving their address when Wachuka, started shouting claiming that “someone was going round abusing her with no apparent reason.
The meeting was calm until the arrival of the MP.
It took the efforts of other leaders present and area chief to calm down the situation before matters would go out of hand.
However, in the addresses, the duo threw words, in a manner that was directed to the other with the crowd cheering at the back.
Laikipia West MP Patrick Mariru called on the leaders to remain united in order to achieve the wishes and aspiration of the local people.
Efforts by Senator John Kinyua to bring the two “women” together through a gospel music meant to quell the anger would not help much as they ignore each other and the dance went on before the CS was invited to address the gathering.
However, the CS steered off the debate and concentrated on his main agenda.
