The story of Inooro FM’s breakfast presenter Jeff Kuria can simply be told as that of someone who has risen from grass to grace.

Kuria, who started as a mere comedian from the Kenya National Theater has had his steepy journey on radio capped with all forms of challenges to an extent that he almost gave up thanks to his go-getter attitude and determination.

Kuria who can be credited for building renowned Kikuyu artistes like Josee Gatutura, has now widened the net and has now gone back to the roots where he started, comedy.

The popular Kikuyu radio presenter has now embarked on a stand-up comedy project alongside other like-minded upcoming comedians like Karwimbo Mukurinu which he has told Magical Kenya News that is all about mentoring upcoming comedians in the Kikuyu industry.

“The project has been very successful and the future looks great we have been able to produce the best refined comedians in the market like Kartelo,Karwimbo,Coconut Broker and others,” Kuria told this writer on Saturday.

Kuria is also mentoring new talents like Julia Mbatha and Mchapo.

The morning presenter who is almost taking over the Kikuyu radio airwaves since he was separated with Wambui Wa Muturi, is also grateful to Jaza Pay and Jersey Developers for supporting him.

“With little more suppport from well-wishers this project can go far as we will employ a few comedians and also get a chance of going to mashinani and getting those raw talents there,” Kuria adds.
