Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has once again sought to put a wedge between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee government.
By MKN Reporter.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Maisha, Tuesday morning, the lawmaker Ngunjiri said he should not be linked to the government.
“Mimi siko kwa serikali, mimi ni mjumbe wa Bahati. Serikali inakimbizana na witch hunt za kisiasa badala ya kufanya kazi,” he added.
Ngunjiri at the beginning of this month launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta over accusing him of reneging on his promise to his deputy William Ruto and his 2022 presidential bid.
The MP even went ahead to launch what he ‘termed’ as the ‘washenzi movement’ after President Uhuru Kenyatta told off critics by referring to them as ‘washenzi’.
