Nandi Senator Samson Cheragei has said that Kenyans ought to be grateful to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
Cheragei says Uhuru and Ruto deserve a pat on their backs for accepting to break small political parties and form one national party.
“Kenyans need to celebrate Uhuru and Ruto because they agreed to form one party for all Kenyans, unlike opposition. It is sad that people are celebrating the handshake more instead of celebrating UhuRuto,” Cherargei said on Tuesday during an interview on Citizen TV’s Newsnight program.
The Jubilee Senator has also warned NASA leader Raila Odinga against attempts to split the Jubilee party saying he won’t succeed.
“Raila need to unite the country through the handshake but not targeting to enter into Jubilee government to cause divisions. We are not going to allow him to split Jubilee party because he has a bad record of causing chaos,” said the senator.
