Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria apologizes to the President after some of the remarks he made in an end year in a party in Thika, Kiambu County where he said “Mimi nataka kusema hivi, tukifungua mwaka wa 2018 nyinyi mfikirie sana. Sisi mambo yetu ni kupiga kura, baada ya kupiga kura maendeleo tunapatiana kwingine. Hiyo ujinga tuwache.
In his response while speaking to members of the press in his Gatundu South Constituency Kuria says what he said on 31st December 2018 have been put out of context by sections of leaders so as to create a rift between him and the President who hails from this constituency which he once represented as a member of parliament.
His actions have been highly viewed as the reason as to why his brother John Ngugi Kuria was lettered to go on a 30 day annual day leave from his position as County Chief Officer, Agriculture, Crop Production and Marketing in the Kiambu County Government under the leadership of Governor Ferdinard Waititu Babayao.
Kiambu Women Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba was enraged by the comments of the Gatundu South Lawmaker even going ahead to offer him a bed in her Mama Care rehabilitation Center so as to sober up insinuating that he (Moses Kuria) was drunk when making remarks which she deemed disrespectful to President Kenyatta.
