The exit of Deputy President William Ruto from the government is fast approaching, exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has foreseen.

The Canadian-based barrister accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of planning for his deputy’s ouster through fake resignation or impeachment.

After Ruto is thrown out of government, Miguna opines, he will be replaced by KANU chairman and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

In a tweet on Wednesday, the vocal lawyer said the DP will not quit despite increasing pressure, but his resignation will be faked.

“Despot Uhuru Kenyatta plans on Ruto: Abduct, Sedate William Ruto and publish a purported RESIGNATION LETTER he “signed” under Act. 148(7), ” he opined.

If that route doesn’t succeed, Miguna alleged the President will: “Choreograph Ruto’s impeachment under Article 150(1)(b) of the Constitution.”

Once the DP is forced out of Harambee House Annex, the lawyer says: “Within 14 days of orchestrating Ruto’s removal, Despot Uhuru Kenyatta intends to nominate Red-panted Gideon Moi to replace Ruto. Gideon’s appointed will be aimed at appeasing Kalenjins.”

His remarks came hardly hours after lawmakers allied to Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga pressed Ruto to resign for what they termed as insubordination, public misconduct and grave malpractices.

A few days ago, Siaya Senator and Senate Minority Leader James Orengo threatened to table an impeachment motion against Ruto on grounds he has disgraced the office of the deputy president.
