The Mombasa court giving a ruling on on Wednesday evening described the act of excluding the more than 700 students from the graduation list as discriminatory and an act rights infringement.

The court further ruled that each of the petitioners be awarded Sh50,000 as costs while ordering that the respondent (Moi University) include all the excluded students in the graduation list on December at zero option.
