‘My eyes just welled up’ Raburu’s wife says after going to church for first time in months

As Kenyans from every region are finding the entry of Corona Virus as dreadful, Willis Raburu’s wife, Maryaprude has been having a different experience – a positive outlook.

Those who know her story will tell you that Maryaprude experienced disheartening events as 2019 rolled into 2020. Just as Corona is shattering the lives of millions of people world wide, the death of their unborn baby girl was something that wrecked their soul- Willis Raburu and her.

Maryaprude is now happy to announce that she has started to embrace her old self by re-establishling old connections with her church.

Taking to Instagram, Mrs. Raburu revealed that it was a moving moment for her when she walked into Jubilee Christian Church (JCC).

Her Instagram post read “Today was my first time to attend church in a long time, walked in and my eyes just welled up with tears, I missed being among brethren, praising and worshiping together. I had an amazing time,”
