Residents of Nyabomite area in Nyamira County are a shaken lot, after the alarming death of a man his wife, who were found in their home, lifeless.
George Agusa, a gospel artist and singer, is said to have killed his wife before committing suicide.
The body of Agusa. 50, was found dangling on a piece of cloth from the ceiling, while that of his wife Mary 45, lay in a pool of blood in their bedroom.
A suicide note was reportedly found at the scene of the incident that took place on the morning of Wednesday, October, 7.
In the note, Agusa claimed an MCA aspirant had been having extra-marital affairs with his wife.
The note also addressed his children, recalling a day when his wife hit him with a cup on the face after he asked her about the secret love affair.
As learned from a relative whose identity is withheld, the couple had been having domestic issues for the past three months.
On the fateful morning, the wife was seen running away from their home, with the husband on her heels, before dragging ged her back into the homestead.
Inside their semi-permanent home, a sound system that the husband used in his ministry was set by the corner.
