Powerful Mount Kenya MP sends a tough warning to Uhuru, Raila over Ruto impeachment

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has dismissed a planned ouster motion against Deputy President William Ruto, saying that the bill seeking to oust the DP, will not see light of the day.

While speaking on Sunday, the vocal lawnmaker further blamed ODM leader Raila Odinga for allegedly being the cause of political confusion within the ruling party.

According to Nyoro, President Uhuru Kenyatta had a good intention when he entered into a political deal with Raila through , only for the for the former Prime Minister to hijack handshake and the Building Bridges Initiative for personal political gains.

On the Ruto impeachment, Nyoro insisted that it was the DP who made Uhuru Kenyatta President of Kenya because of the votes he brought.

“Uhuru and Ruto were elected on a joint ticket. If they insist that Ruto should be impeached, then we demand that his votes are returned to him,” said the legislator.

His comment comes just days after politicians allied to Raila and Uhuru asked Dr Ruto to resign if he was not comfortable working with the President.
