While speaking in Mosop constituency on Friday where he issued title deedse, the DP asked leaders to avoid unnecessary sideshows and instead focus on serving the electorate.
” Those who are planning to impeach me, let me advise you for free; stop engaging in unnecessary plots that won’t be successful,” said Dr Ruto.
The DP’s comment comes days after Siaya Senator James Orengo hinted that an impeachment motion against Dr Ruto will be tabled in Parliament to facilitate his ouster from office.
Orengo claimed that the DP had brought dishonor to his office with the death of Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei adding onto Dr Ruto’s political woes.
In a press conference on Wednesday, a group of politicians allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga dared the DP to resign if he was not happy working with the President.
