Senator Millicent Omanga Refutes Rumor of Jumping Over Police Fence at Night

Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has come to her own defence, on jumping over a police station fence, in the night.

Thursday, September, 9, a photo collage of Millicent and a woman alleged to be her was shared on social media and went viral. The woman was seen jumping over a police station fence, in a dress similar to the senator’s. Her body build does not help the allegation.

Millicent has however refuted the accusation, dismissing the rumours, saying there would be a earth tremor, were she to do that.

Disregard the propaganda about me jumping over Kasarani police station fence. It is an idle rumor worth no one’s attention. Sincerely, how can I jump, over anything, let alone a high fence, without Kenyans experiencing earth tremor?

Rumor, controversy and cyber-bullying is not new to Millicent, a strong ally of the DP.

Just the other day, in July, word went around that she had been arrested for not adhering to curfew hour orders. This claim too, she dismissed.

It was reported, the senator was arrested at a nightclub in Hurlingham, Nairobi and was locked up at Kileleshwa Police Station.

In her face-saving on Facebook, she claimed to have been at home at the said time,

Watu wangu mimi niko sawa. Kausingizi kananibamba tu. Izo zingine ni story.
