Doctors believed the bullet which killed her while she was shielding her son might be the same bullet that exited her body and entered her little son’s head.
The photo of Gift tightly holding on to his younger brother, Satrine, with tears went viral eliciting emotions and compassion from Kenyans.
The baby Satrin was airlifted to Nairobi where the bullet was successfully removed from his head.
This is how the then Senator for Nairobi Mike Sonko and his wife came in and they boys became part of his family.
