Sonko rewards MzeeAmbuthi who cycled to Moi’s burial

Nairobi governor Mike Soko on Thursday donated a posho mill and a motorbike Mzee Nathan Ambuti who cycled for four days to attend retired president Moi burial.
The 76-year-old dresses in a KANU flag tie cycled from Kakamega to Kabarak.
Through his official Facebook Page Sonko said the posho mill and the motorcycle will provide him more income.

“He did not have any money for a hotel room, he would sleep on verandahs during his long journey and then resume safari the next day. This is a “self-made peace Ambassador for Kenya,” said the Nairobi Jubilee governor.

“Today my family donated a Posho Mill machine which he requested from me to start his own business in Butere, it’s a diesel-powered machine which can Mill with electricity and diesel. We have already fueled his machine and ready to Mill,” Sonko added.

Sonko reiterated that they also bought him a motorbike with full tank, paid insurance, helmet, and all safety gear to facilitate his easy movement.
