The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested two young men in connection with 68 tubes of suspected cocaine confiscated in Riruta, Nairobi.

“OVER 68 Tubes of suspected COCAINE were last night confiscated in Riruta-NRB & Two Suspects; 23-Yr-Old Mohamed Kebbay & Jogy Fondo (29yrs) arrested by @DCI_Kenya
Kilimani Detectives. Several sachets of Bhang & Kamagra Oral Jelly also seized. Suspects booked awaiting arraignment,” tweeted DCI

The agency also recovered other items among them 3 laptops, a weighing machine and brown cookies believed to be baked using drugs.

The revelation by the Kinoti-led team comes at a time when the same agency nabbed a Nairobi based club owner over fake 1 million US dollars.

Plan 254 club owner Stephen Mark Oduk alias known as Lucas Mbadi was arrested on Thursday morning, with an additional 147 fake gold bars.

Other items recovered include 3000 pieces of $100 black money. The arrest adds to a series of crimes committed by the suspect as he was also arrested in May over money laundering allegations.

Oduk was taken to Parklands Police Station and is expected to be charged on Friday.
