They Have Betrayed You! Raila Asked to Fire 2 ODM Vocal Leaders

Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has asked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga to fire leaders of his party in Parliament.

Siaya Senator James Orengo is the Minority Leader in the Senate, while Suba South MP John Mbadi is the Minority Leader in the National Assembly.

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed is another high ranking ODM official who serves as the Minority Whip in the National Assembly.

According to Kipkorir, the leaders have ‘betrayed’ their boss and it was time they were shown the door, and replaced with loyal lawmakers.

“Raila Odinga must take charge of ODM. He has to overhaul the leadership of both National Assembly and Senate .. The Houses need leaders who are STRONG, CHARISMATIC, INCORRUPTIBLE and who don’t have any other ambition but to channel Baba’s agenda ….Current Ones have BETRAYED BABA,” he tweeted on Thursday.

The outspoken lawyer, who is an enthusiastic follower of the ODM boss, said ODM parliamentary leaders were solely focusing on building their political careers, at the expense of advancing Raila’s interests such as his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“All ODM leaders in National Assembly and Senate are focused on building their gubernatorial ambitions …. None is focused on advancing Baba’s Agenda with the President …. They can’t even whip 5 Senators!” Kipkorir posted.

Speaking of gubernatorial ambitions, the lawyer was apparently referring to Orengo who is said to be interested in succeeding Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga, and Mbadi who is eyeing Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti’s seat.
