Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has rubbished claims that she was confronted by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s bodyguards in Nakuru on Wednesday with her close friend saying the senator had a little altercation with a ‘lady blogger’ who was strategically placed to harass her.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Kihika dismissed a post making rounds on social media asking followers to ignore the post, noting that it was baseless and fake with an aim of creating non-existent narratives.
“I have this morning seen the following post making rounds on social media. It’s a FAKE post from a fake Facebook page. Treat it with the contempt it deserves,” Kihika said.
In a clip widely shared on social media, the lady is seen attempting to slap the senator who slightly dodges her head after which other Nakuru leaders in her company are later seen trying to intervene and calm the Senator.
There are unconfirmed reports that the lady seen attempting to slap the noisy senator is Njoro MP Charity Kathambi.
Kihika is a close confidant of Deputy President William Ruto and had attended a function at county assembly of Nakuru which was presided over by President Kenyatta.
