Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has pointed out determined they are to rise again after though election in both Ugenya and Embakasi South.
Sifuna took it to social media to express noted ODM did they best only to lose in both constituencies.
According to Sifuna, Friday election which saw Julius Mawathe won against ODM candidate Irshad Sumra is not the end of their party but they are ready to resurface again.
“I thank all those who turned out to stand with our candidates and the Party. We do not take for granted that you remain loyal soldiers of the movement. We promise our supporters to do better as always. We will make no excuses. We will learn. We will rise, ” Noted Sifuna on his official Facebook account
Sifuna congratulated both winners for spirited campaigns. David Ochieng won in Ugenya Parliamentary Seat on a Movement for Democracy and Growth Ticket.
Gatundu South Mp Moses Kuria on his part has taken this as the end of ODM. He has requested former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to support in his 2022 presidential bid.
“I send my condolences to Baba for losing both at home in Ugenya and away in Embakasi South. From the foregoing, it is clear that 2022 is an outright two horse dead heat between William Ruto and myself. I seek your support Baba,” Noted Kuria in his facebook page
