DEPUY PRESIDENT William Ruto’s wife, Rachael, on Wednesday found herself between a rock and hard place after inviting all Kenyans every Wednesday to participate in what she terms as ‘National Prayer and Fasting’.

By G. Daniel

Rachael through a tweet prophetically spoke about ‘a time is coming and has now come’ when ‘true worshippers’ will worship God in ‘spirit and truth’.

“A time is coming & has now come when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit & in truth for they are the kind of worshipers Father seeks.God is spirit & his worshipers must worship in Spirit & in truth,” Rachael Ruto tweet reads.

However, her handlers should have warned her beforehand that there are Kenyans whom prayers and fasting is not a priority, but food.

The DP’s wife ‘National Prayer and Fasting’ even has a timetable which comes with a full schedule of when to pray for each an every sector that has apparently been troubling the country.

However, her idea was rubbished by her ‘trollers’ who asked her to dedicate that ‘time and energy’ to pray for her husband, the DP, who is facing several allegations of corruption, land grabbing to name but a few.

Here are some of the reactions to Rachael’s apparently boomeranged tweet.
